China and Cuba are studying a new, universal coronavirus vaccine in anticipation of emerging new coronavirus variants that may cause future epidemics/pandemics.

Pan-Corona: Cuban-Chinese research to anticipate next epidemics​

Scientists from Cuba and China want to anticipate future pandemics by investigating a potential generic vaccine that protects against different types of coronavirus and possible emerging variants.

The Pan-Corona project is based on a joint biotechnology research and development center operating since 2019 in the city of Yongzhou (central Hunan province) and is led by experts from the Caribbean island’s Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB).

“All the predictions and scientific rationality indicate that, unfortunately, we will have to suffer new epidemics as a logical result of the increase in world population, animal production and the movement of people,” explained Dr. Gerardo Guillén, director of Biomedical Research of the CIGB, in an interview with EFE.

They have been bragging. Jai Hind indignation after FDA denied approval for Bharat Biotech Covaxin.
Never mind that Bharat Biotech had skipped key steps in ensuring that the SARS-COV-2 virus in the vaccine was fully killed, or was incapable of multiplying in the human body.

Hyderabad: In what is seen as an instance of the West denying "due recognition" to Indian technological prowess, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has refused to allow Indian vaccine-maker Bharat Biotech to sell its Covid-19 vaccine there.

The grant of an “emergency approval use" (EAU) would have allowed the Hyderabad-based firm to sell Covaxin in the US with immediate effect.

Omg this is so crazy

There's literally dozens and dozens of comments on Pak internet sphere by indians shitting on Pak vac (covid vaccine made in collaboration with China) as it's "China ka maal" - it's defected and garbage as usual

And they bring up examples of this exact vaccine to Chest thump about indian pharmaceutical prowess

I got impressed that wow they created something even better than phizer or what not

But if you know your own vaccine is garbage

Just s**it on Pak vac and move on why bring examples of a defected vaccine to Chest thump ‍‍

Thank you so much for finding Priyanka Pulla's article. When the deaths in Uttarakand's vaccinated cops were reported, I remembered that the state received shipments of Covaxin, Bharat Biotech's vaccine.

I also remembered reading an article that was worried about Covaxin being rushed into production, long before Phase III trials were done. Covaxin uses inactivated viruses, and there were worries that the inactivation was not properly being done. I tried to find the article I remembered reading to confirm these points, but as usual when searching for Indian articles (I had forgotten the author's name), I was instantly buried in enormous piles of lies and trash. I gave up looking and simply posted the link between Bharat Biotech and the state of Uttarakand.

So, much thanks for finding the Pulla article. Now the Uttarakand/Covaxin case is strengthened: the vaccine that Bharat Biotech shipped to Uttarakand may have contained partially living SARS-CoV-2 viruses, and these may have infected nearly 3000 cops in the state. At the moment this is only guessing on my part, as we don't actually know that the infected cops received Covaxin.

Another Taiwanese entertainer is blasting the Tsai regime for their shameful handling of Covid-19.

Barbie Hsu, a Taiwan actress, posted an Instagram story on Saturday, saying that "We are being massacred. Tsai [Taiwan's regional leader Tsai Ing-wen] is killing us!"

Hsu later said that she is not good at using social media but prefers to keep these tough words. Hsu's agent explained recently that the actress wants to ask "when COVID-19 vaccines will be available to the 23 million Taiwan residents."

You're probably going to hear about this more... comedian Jon Stewart who the right wing hates because he's influential and a champion of left-wing Democratic causes just said he believes COVID-19 was engineered and escaped from the Wuhan lab. Why? Because the name of the lab is the exact same name of the coronavirus. That's not true. It called the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The right is going to jump on this because you know when right-wing and left-wing agree, it must be correct and true.
