Never mind that Bharat Biotech had skipped key steps in ensuring that the SARS-COV-2 virus in the vaccine was fully killed, or was incapable of multiplying in the human body.

Schrödinger's India. On one hand India is 'recognized' by the West as an alternative to China. On another hand, the West is denying due recognition to India's 'technological prowess'.

The fact that 14 countries was still able to give emergency use for Bharat Biotech's Covaxin is a farce. Not only is its effectiveness still ambiguous till today. It may actually contain actual live Covid-19 viruses! Worse still, Bharat Biotech has not come out to address these concerns, but actually tried to brush them away. This pretty much sums up the mentality of BJP India.

Trinidad and Tobago better check the expire date on those 80 vials. But hey, that’s still 80 vials more than what India ever got from the Americans.

Did they forget to say the 80 vials is only enough for the American expats and consular staff in Trinidad Tobago?

If anyone hasn't noticed, the 80 vials bragging rights, the circle jerk and symbolism at G7, it's clear Biden is only aiming at the appearance of US leadership.

To actually unite the world against China takes more than just 80 vials and a watered-down letter from your circle jerk friends. It's like they are fulfilling some checklist of things to say or do to meet their quota of "US stronk, China Bad" for domestic propaganda.

You're probably going to hear about this more... comedian Jon Stewart who the right wing hates because he's influential and a champion of left-wing Democratic causes just said he believes COVID-19 was engineered and escaped from the Wuhan lab. Why? Because the name of the lab is the exact same name of the coronavirus. That's not true. It called the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The right is going to jump on this because you know when right-wing and left-wing agree, it must be correct and true.

A good example of a retired comedian saying outrageous things to get attention. With no political correctness on this subject anymore, Stewart knows he can he away with saying anything because there is no accountability on his words or actions. Retirement life must suck to need to propagate conspiracy theories to stay irrelevant.

Biden takes a gamble and decides to milk the lab leak theory to demonize China and China's reputation. Coronavirus has exposed the flaws and weakness of the international liberal order as the US and major Western powers failed to contain the virus and show weakness. Even people in the global south look at the US with disdain as how it handle the pandemic.

I just saw the segment earlier today and I couldn't believe this f..ng dude was ranting on about how the virus couldn't have possibly come from anywhere else since the location or "origin" from a city named Wuhan and the new virus called "Wuhan virus" in a city that studies "Coronavirus" so everything fits neatly together. And then he gleefully mocked the Wuhan Chinese scientists by playing as the scientist responding to an accusatory question in a mumbling, lying way while the rest of the audience along with Colbert just ate this s..t all up.

I was disappointed but not least bit surprised that Stewart came to this conclusion. I just find it hilarious that this lab leak theory will gain further hold in the U.S. using his arguments as somehow further "scientific" proof of the Wuhan Lab leak theory.

I mean, If this episode doesn't show everyone how low and stupid American minds have become then oh well. This man - a sharp tongued, witty comedian with no Scientific knowledge or education -- will be believed over the vast amount of scientists that studies virology/virus matter and they wonder why America has lagged? Lol

It could be a joke making fun of the logic of the right. You can tell by the audience reaction there was some confusion. But then there's always some left-wing figure that all of the sudden bends right.
