In India last week. There is hype for a 'miracle' Ayurvedic herbal drug in a village in Adhra Pradesh to treat Covid-19.
The crowding alone to queue for the drug is perhaps the biggest danger. People are bringing their Covid-19 positive kin to get treated. Couple this with the massive crowds of people coming from out of town to get their their hands on the 'miracle drug'. I'm speechless.
I do not want to knock on authentic Ayurvedic medicines. But this is BJP India, its the land of scams and cow excrements. Plus the Jai Hinds were happy to insult Chinese TCM for treating Covid-19. So I'll give no benefit of the doubt. This is another one of those cow-urine, cow-dung, and Coronil scams. Nothing like a pandemic to sell miracle cures.

Stories about the bodies floating in the Ganga river never ends. The crematoriums are running low on wood to cremate the dead. Thus cremation prices are sky high. So its more economical for the poor to float the bodies of their deceased kin into the Ganga river.
Most notable, is what one villager said when interviewed: "There is terror among the villagers. Nobody is taking bath or filling water from the Ganga".
Only slight more than a month ago, Indians were celebrating Kumbh Mela in Ganga river. Covid-19 be damned.
It almost looks like a twisted circle of life. The Ganga river was the place for one of the great super-spreader events that contributed to the birth of the second wave. Then more than a month later, the dead are floating down the same river.

Brilliant find. That scum Micheal R. Gordon. He is one of those responsible for the deaths of more than 1 million Iraqis. Seeing his name on this latest BS article about the Wuhan lab conspiracy is only so fitting. Clearly he regretted nothing from what his reports have done to the Iraqi people. Too bad he is not in hell right now, but his time will come.

If the West applied "open and transparency" equally to all foreign policy, then yes, it has weight and credibility.
But when West selectively applies "open and transparency" in perceived adversaries and not itself or US allies, then it's all for domestic show and propaganda.
I'm only afraid that this will inflame anti-Asian hate, with this open-ended "What if" conspiracy bullshit that has zero evidence.

The recent Guangzhou outbreak MAY be caused by a Chinese citizen returning from Rwanda. I say "MAY" because it is not confirmed. Here is what happened.
Ning XX returned from Rwanda on April 25, quarantined in a hotel in the district of later outbreak. He was released on May 10th. He stayed for a night in nearby hotel, then took a train on 11th to return home in Guangxi province. He was found to be positive on 25th after Guangdong informed Guangxi of him being in the area.
In Guangzhou, the first case was Guo X who felt ill on 18th of May. The spreading center is a restaurant. Ning XX was picked out for tracking because he was nearby.
Now, it could be either way who transmit to whom, therefor I say "May". But Guo was 75 years old who don't travel. Ning just returned from abroad, he/she would be more likely bringing in the virus.
One thing important is that the variant of Ning XX is not disclosed yet. If it is the Indian variant (same as Guo) it would increase the chance that he/she is the source.
This likely present a challenge, blocking India along won't prevent Indian variant from coming in, unless we block the whole world. But that would do more harm to China than good.
The current measure (blocking, tracking, quarantine) are only to buy us time. Sooner or later we will have to open up, so vaccination is the only way to go.
