Stupid Trump must have contracted Biden with covid. Get sympathy play as well as make your older opponent sick.
If Trump recovers this is definitely beneficial to his campaign. No 1. he could spin this as he not a chicken like Biden and practiced what he preached and No 2. COVID is just a flu. If a 70 year old could recover from it, most people can. Biden trying to shut down the economy is "pig-headed".
My dad had a similar theory with Boris Johnson (complete speculation/conspiracy theory, but he thought it wouldn't be completely ridiculous BoJo went out of his way to get infected on his hospital visit to frontline workers) to show that it was "just a flu". If that were the case, I'm not sure how well that narrative is playing out in the UK.... All be it Trump is a good 20 years older than BoJo.
Boris Johnson was hospitalized and almost died. I don't think even he believed it was just a flu after the ordeal.

If he doesn't recover then he's probably dead so recovery at all is a good thing. But I'm not so sure it's going to change the course of the election for him. He said it was low risk, etc, but if the President of the United States can get it then (obviously) anyone can get it. Plus he obviously has access to the best medical care in the country.
But if he isn’t even hospitalized then it proves the point that it is just a flu. Trump is well over 70. If anyone is at risk, he should be it.
Unless you count infecting himself on purpose I seriously doubt it. If he faked his medical records it would come to light sooner or later.
