The Brazilian president got Covid. Currently, there are many vaccines on stage II and III trials. The Chinese are giving them to people traveling abroad on an volunteer basis. It seems a no brainer for the heads of states to get this. I wonder why this is not happening.

The virus is pretty mild as far as viruses go. Hell, common cold and influenza infect and kill a lot more in the US than COVID-19 does. Reason why COVID-19 spread in the US for years without been noticed until the Chinese found out it's a new strain.

Be careful about that assumption. Clinton was a democrat, and she's a China hawk. She was the one who designed the Pivot to Asia with a bunch of China Hawks in the military. Trump ruined the Pivot to Asia by leaving the TPP, but it looks like the China hawks managed to take control anyway. If Biden wins, it remains to be seen if he can remove these guys from power.
