They were the first wave of doctors from Wuhan who dealt with the initial outbreak when no one knew this was a new virus or how dangerous it was.

Once the nature of the virus was discovered and standards adjusted to compensate, no other medical personnel were infected.

No you cannot get an actual M4. Despite claims to the contrary US law prohibits getting military weapons. What the LE6920 is is a weapon made to similar specs but not the real deal. The first limitation is that real Military weapons are manufactured at a different factory than civilian this is required by the DOD and congress. Then there is the NFA that prohibits both the barrel length of the M4 at 14.5 inches, the mandatory length is 16.5 inches to get that the muzzle device of 1.5 inches is welded in place a short barrel requires a tax stamp on the lower receiver and modification. However even the its not the real M4 as it would match US DOD specs and would lack the Magnetic particle proofing. It’s an M4gory as the term is.
Then there is the selector set. Safe and semi as actual machine guns are regulated requiring a class 3 dealer license For sale to law enforcement agencies.

Sometimes it is simply the case that authorities place orders without knowing about commercial transactions.

The procedures are now being changed and the authorities are being supported by the procurement departments of international companies. For example Audi, Daimler or VW, which currently have less work due to production stoppages.

The authorities could have come up with this idea earlier.

These people's judgement is really impaired by their zealotry on hating the Chinese government. They seem completely unaware that the White House has already realized how important China can be in helping the U.S. to win this battle against the COVID-19. That's the reason Trump stopped calling it "Chinese virus" to begin with.

On April 4, excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, there are 5 new domestic cases in Guangdong (I hope they are not from some wet market) and 25 imported cases. There are 11 suspected cases, all imported (chart 1). There are 47 new asymptomatic cases and a total of 1,024 asymptomatic cases (chart 2). There are 3 deaths nationwide, all in Wuhan, Hubei (chart 3). There are 79,964 cured cases and 1,376 existing cases (chart 4). Existing cases in Hong Kong and Macau increased by 5 (chart 5).

China: Ok there's a new virus, from now on no one move around, if you go out you must wear a mask. Nationwide lockdown and quarantine policies implemented.

Rest of the world: Don't trust anything these fucking commies say! It's just a flu! They are trying to control everyone's life! There's no need for masks!

China: We are experiencing a surge of patients and this virus is super infectious via air and physical contact. We are also experiencing shortage on medical supplies and medical practitioners. Pulling everything from the country to Wuhan.

Rest of the world:* It's only a big deal in a backward country like yours, where people are poor and unhygienic, where the medical system is still in 1950s, where the government covers up the figures and doesn't alarm people how dangerous it is! It shouldn't affect advanced countries like us!

China: But it is with you and killing your people now!!! Do something about it so you can still save lives!!!

Rest of the world: Not before we found everything we can blame on you!!! It's too late for us to do something now, people will just die and eventually we'll have herd immunity, but you must take the full responsibility for it ！
