It has become customary for western leaders to praise Modi on India's anti pandemic effort when they met and at the same time never miss the liberty of the moment to take a jab at China's supposedly "poor performance".

Some time ago, Justin Trudeau did the same when he met the Indian leader, never mind that not long after which the Delta variant created in India started to wreak havoc across the world.

Cambodia reports 26 conservative days of no Covid-19 and only 2 active patients remain in hospital. However, that's official number. The reality is that if someone is infected with Covid-19 and has the ability, he doesn't care to report to government but buy medicine to cure himself.
Cambodia has relative young population and high vaccination rate. As long as people don't overwhelm the hospitals, then Cambodia should cope with covid relatively well.

@KYli bro same here , we lifted any travel restriction for incoming and outgoing passengers. Last weekend when I travel to the province, I noticed people don't wear any mask. Maybe because of the heat or the fresh air, my thinking is the same as yours, as they were exposed to the elements, the virus can't survive and spread.

I still refuse to go out, and will stay isolated in my room forever!!! Yeah, I'm starting to see less people wearing mask outside and roads have become a lot more noisy lately.

Of the 22 severe COVID-19 cases of children aged 1-12 as of Sunday, 11 of the patients developed acute encephalitis, or inflammation of the brain, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
For the 10 deaths linked to the disease in that age group since April 19, acute encephalitis was a factor in five of those, the CECC statistics showed.
This is horrible, was this a thing before or is this recent with the newer Covid variants?
