This fella's comment is a representation that all they want for China is to f..ng fail and be torn to into many pieces so that it can never become a challenge again not just to it's neighbour's but also to the Western hegemonic control of the world. And if am being honest, if force to choose between these 2 outcomes, I would rather China go WWIII than to see her break into pieces again.

Well, I want them to keep up the hate, because then it will drive more of their best and bright people (aka. Chinese) away. I couldnt care less whether or not they go to china, good enough that they leave and drain the US. Maybe we will even see "radicalized" countrymen get "creative", we saw what a few middle eastern people could do with rudimentary flight training 20 years ago.

America might start building them camps again and rounding us all up. We are everywhere, and ready to strike.

It's really f..ng super annoying that whenever there's an issue no matter how small or big China's opponents both from within and without the country seems to relish or suggest the opportunity that somehow this time China's government is on it's last throes all because the virus is now all over the country and somehow it'll supposedly bring down their economy and then people will be aching for revolution.

My f..ng question is this? Why is it that countries like India, U.S. and host of other countries that fared worst in every meaningful measures on this pandemic no one seems to be clamoring for revolution? And do these people somehow thinks that the solution to the current Chinese predicament is a tectonic shift in political system will magically rid themselves of its so called problems and all of its territorial issues with her neighbors would all of a sudden become so agreeable? Are these Chinese liberals these f..ng delusional? Are we really being led to believe that a democratic China wouldn't want Taiwan back? The world will somehow magically hold their hands and all is going to be well?

Why are you bothering us with this noise? Yes, China's enemies hate it because they know in their heart of hearts that its rise to domination is unstoppable. All they can do is impotently seethe, like this example presenting his impotent seething as "just asking questions."

Stop seething at their seethe. If you can't, you can at least stop annoying us with it.

I don't mean to be too hard on you; I was in somewhat the same boat myself of flying off the handle at reading their trash. I still sometimes get more annoyed by it than I should be. What allowed me to get past that was getting a little bit of historical perspective: Think how comparable situations in history played out where a rising power threatened to so comprehensively and irrevocably eclipse the prevailing hegemon and supplant its world order. Compare that bloodshed and horror to what China faces today: high school gossip-level tweets, comedically biased media coverage, and the occasional FONOP. These barely register as irritants.

What's stopping China from growing its economy to being the largest, most integrated, and most advanced in the world even under the reigning hegemon's system? Nothing. What's stopping China from constructing the world's most powerful military? Nothing. What's stopping China from instituting whatever political system it pleases and honing to being the world's most effective government? Nothing. What's stopping China from using that system to crush the pandemic while the rest of the world is creating new variants like Law & Order spinoffs? Absolutely nothing.

In everything that matters, China has complete freedom of action and nothing can stop it.

Actually, democrazy can stop China’s progress. Imaging what the NIMBYism, woke politics, gender equality, LGBTQ, legalized corruptions, vast interest groups, military-industrial complex, etc can do to China

Yes, liberal democracy/oligarchy would do a number, but that would just be China taking a hammer to its own skull. I'm talking about what a foreign adversary can do.

You are right. It is the looming realisation that the capacity and development path of China is dependent on internal factors rather than external's which spooked the US politcal elites. (Unlike Japan, S. Korea, Singapore etc)

And what worsen the horror is that, due to her large population, China's growth trajectory will naturally surpass that of US. That scare the hell out of people like Steve Bannon, Trump and Pelosi.

Um, if the west wants COVID containment to fail in china, wouldn't that just end up with another india, where we let it fester a bit until it becomes a second version of delta and then spreads across the world, causing another wave?

I mean China could just re-shut provinces again for 60 days, which was proven in phase I. Plus this time china's population is mobilized with adequate PPE and delivery robots, and has literally been preparing our industrial and logistic capacity for the entire year in anticipation of another wave.

Just like first wave, a second wave and strain in china would take down the world much more than china itself? I guess the west really is bent on self-distruction.
The Anglo plan was always to try and isolate China like North Korea and Iran and they hoped that COVID rampaging across China like India would allow them to stop all outside access into China and effectively lay siege to China.

Naturally, this didn't happen and it was India that became the hotbed for mutations, but the Anglos can't do that to India since they need India as their sepoy slave cannon fodder for the wars to come.

It's all good and no I don't think you were being too hard with your comments on what I posted. What you said was a good reminder for me not to get caught up with posts that's all designed to incite a reaction nothing more nothing less. But because I consume an inordinate amount of western social media and engage with a number of anti-China from any and every topic imaginable reading incendiary comments just makes me loose my cool. I just can't stand the sheer hypocrisy of the west and their lackeys from the amount of lies a d hate directed towards the country of China all because it's political system isn't govern under the western democratic system. And what gets me riled up even more is my memory goes back to the darkest days of the country where millions upon millions of Chinese lives were upended, lost from the chaos unleashed against her sending and scattering families across the world to taste a better life. I don't want the country to go through that tumult again, ever and I hope that all of us Chinese would ensure to never let that happen again.
