Dam China going for the lab leak jugular.
About time.... imagine if a rival coworker stole the company van that you were responsible for driving, sold it for his personal gain, then not only faked innocence but turned about and framed you for the theft....

I saw the journalist behind this article being interviewed this morning on TV. She says one of the possible reasons why there's a cover-up over COVID-19 lab leak is US guilt itself. As touched on before there was the accusation that the US was involved with the Wuhan lab. Not only did the US fund research on coronaviruses. They funded what's called "gain of function" research which is legitimate research that manipulates viruses to actually increase infectiousness. According to this journalist the cover-up in the US began from the beginning because of the finger pointing right back at the US.

More like CIA doesn't have enough agents to fabricate evidence or at least in a way that is presentable.

That's an example of a journalist watching too many James Bond movies confusing fiction with reality. The US has never had a network of spies in China that ever got that deep. Most of the so-called spies they supposed have in the world are individuals doing it for profit not actual intelligence officers they've trained meaning they're not trustworthy. First it's a joke to believe a white person can operate as a spy of the likes of James Bond in China. Why do I I even bring up race? Because the history of the CIA and any US intelligence service didn't trust anyone who wasn't white to be loyal to the US. That's why you'll find that the CIA recruited rich people early on as their spies because of the logic they were rich from making money in the US meaning they had a stake at the US's well-being. The US charges China is secretive and hiding everything from the public. No it's because Americans can't read Chinese. I read an article on an American who wanted to check if China was really hiding what they were doing because the US charged it wasn't transparent. He found that some of what the US was charging China was hiding was found in public records in China. The problem was it was all in Chinese. The US has a problem translating documents that are in Chinese because Chinese is not a language romantic enough for Americans to want to learn and the intelligence services don't trust anyone Chinese to translate for them. When it comes to ground intelligence, the US is stuck with people who only do it for money or Chinese citizens who have personal grudges with the government. Both cases not trustworthy and most likely never in a position to get worthy intelligence.

False. Pre-dismantle of the CIA intelligence network in China, they had penetrated the CPC's highest level.

If you go back in time and read western analysis pre~2013 you would often see, "sources close to Hu", or "sources close to Jiang". They entered different organisations of the CPC, CMC, State Council etc.

All levels of China's agencies, oranisations, governments, NGOs were infiltrated by the CIA

Good thing that the Iranian Intelligence Agency tipped off the Chinese about a critical flaw of CIA's communications system which helped the Chinese dismantle these spy-networks

Imagine if China achieves the trifecta:
  1. Domestic control of pandemic within China border at early stage, US biggest hotspot until vax.
  2. Largest vaccine exporter/donor nation, where US is far behind.
  3. Herd immunity +70-80% rates in China, where US fails to achieve it at only 60% max.

It would irrefutably (esp. #3) prove the success of China's leadership and governance.

Hence, to PRE-EMPT the trifecta, US is promoting the lab-leak theory is used to plant seeds of suspicion about China's leadership and governance.

You see there :) It's a self-assuaging ego exercise for the Americans. "China better than US, but it doesn't count, because China Bad."
