Has anyone noticed that US media uses words like "Raging fire" "Disaster" "Catastrophe" "World's Worst" when it comes to India...

but US never uses these same words to describe themselves (despite higher death toll and infection rate)??

Just the language choices in US news articles and content is SO different when it's problems in foreign countries compared to same situation inside US.

Thats old news mate. Modern propaganda has advanced even more than this. Currently the best in class for subtle propaganda is Reuters and BBC.

These 2 "news" are the best form of propaganda I have ever witness in my life. Their handlers deserve all the money in the world for their hard work on spreading propaganda worldwide with such efficiency

Of course, WHO is only a front man, or a "professional" cloak of COVAX, the real bosses are the ones who foot the bill (check the list of major donors). These guys are not going to let their money used to promote Chinese vaccines. COVAX is just a stage built by the old powers for their own show and WHO in this case is only a puppet.

We all know their games. WHO is achieving nothing but accelerating its irrelevancy when the rest of the world are using Chinese vaccines without issue and the WHO is still dragging its feet on approving them

If not due to the setback of AstraZeneca and J&J, WHO would probably be able to approve Sinopharm and Sinovac earlier. Now WHO would try to prolong the approval process or simply deny the approval to buy Western vaccines more time to ramp up production. Although, it is almost irrelevant now as only a very few countries still waiting for WHO before using Sinopharm or Sinovac

Better late than never.

Note the UK is seeing overall COVID cases decline.
But the Indian variants are now seeing exponential growth, despite a *lockdown* and half the population having had a vaccination dose.

So I expect the US is seeing exponential growth of the Indian variants as well, but they aren't doing much genome sequencing to track this.

As a Chinese I say we offer all the help that we can to the Indians. Not because I'm a saint but because what difference it makes? They wouldn't accept it anyway.

If they do, it's a huge PR and diplomatic win automatically. This is win win - we win no matter what.

This is why China has done so at the earliest opportunity and why Xi even personally gave Modi a call.

Come on guys we are grown ups. What damage can a bunch of idiotic ultra nationalistic Indians do to China? Even their elite mountain army got beaten the shit out of them in the Ladakh conflict.

You worry about lunatics like Trump because he can and will hurt you. When India is such a weakling and in such dire situations, we can afford to be a little generous, fot reasons above.

Also the impact of this whole COVID situationin India goes far beyond just a health crisis. Th Quad can no longer deliver its vaccine promises to the region to 'counter' China and I wonder who still thinks India can become an alternative manufacturing giant like China.

The lessons of COVID is this: if you want your supply chain to be safe and resilient, it's best to put them all in China. For there is no other country that manages crises better than China.
