Chinese Video/Computer Games

I don't think Chinese regulators care much about what Tencent, Netease, Mihoyo et al do overseas if at all. If anything, I reckon the games will be even more predatory outside of China to make up for lost earnings due to the new rules, in China.

That would be an excellent compromise between regulators and Chinese tech companies. You peddle the fentanyl outside China? No problem. In China? Very, very big problem.

I guess this is mostly aimed at kids that spend like crazy with money they dont have I guess, then again Tencent is known for this craziness in regards to advertising.
This can be said to be the ultimate result of the unhealthy market environment in the past 20 years.
It is difficult to reverse the trend of these large enterprises prioritizing profits over technology solely through these regulations.

The game I am currently looking forward to the most.
Unfortunately, PLA will be released in the form of DLC.
This will be a long and painful wait.

Although some people in our country are calling for the production of "patriotic games," policy support remains an issue

I'm kinda late to this but back in 2014, Huawei made a game console called Tron. While looking nice, it failed for multiple reasons. What's important is that Huawei has had some interest and experience in the console market and I've found recently back in 2021 there were rumors of Huawei planning on going back to try their hands at making a game console similar to the PS5 and Xbox Series.

I don't believe they will make one anytime soon. Maybe not even in this decade since it seems they have many projects taking up their time and budget. Once Huawei has a solid foundation in their GPU they would most likely choose to make their domestic APU first before making anything like a console. But if they do make one in the future, I hope it's more like the Steam Machine with being a PC Console and not a closed-off system like the PS5/Xbox. The 2030s seem to be exciting times.

Huawei could make one today. The Kirin 9000S already has their own CPU and GPU designs. To make one for a console you would just need to rip off the AI and modem blocks and put more CPU and GPU blocks in the SoC.

——So far, there is new intelligence about Broken Arrow.
It can be seen that the design of PLA is based on the situation after the 2015 military reform.

The game production team uses Discord for communication, but I don't know how to use it.
They have a relatively comprehensive collection of information on Chinese weapons, which is much stronger than the French production team (of course, there is very little information from the Cold War era), but some problems can also be seen.

Interested friends, please read on your own. I think our forum can provide more valuable opinions (although I don't know how to contact them)

So, I've been hearing about China basically banning bloods in games. I'm not sure about how the regulation works, cuz I remember seeing Chinese games with red blood effects. Such as Netease's Lost Light, or the Wukong Black Myth game, etc.

I would appreciate it if anyone can inform me about this more.
