Hey, I think this is a punishment for them. They have to reluctantly watch China become stronger year after year, while they can only shout in vain like Indians.
Well, TBH I don't think any of that matters to most people here. Engineers and analysts both just tend to like machinery, systems, and the tech itself. This country or that, new or old, as long as something is clever, people will just love to figure it out.

Getting back to CCA/UCAVs though, or any new tech ever, don't discount the fact that countries use showmanship and secrecy in equal measure, as best befits their perceived better interests. It's all just poker.

When China finds it in their best interest to show their cards they will, and they will do so in the order that will maximally make the other poker players think twice if they want to stay in the game or go all in. Everyone shows their cards in the end though.

I do think China has a particular flare for the dramatic. After all, it isn't their first time at the poker table.

They are displaying the best cards at this year’s military parade. This has been confirmed by military enthusiasts near the rehearsal.

Unlike the Zhuhai Expos where some exhibited equipment and platforms are only there for the export market showcasing and may have no plans to be inducted by the PLA - Equipment and platforms shown during the Tiananmen military parades are certainly going to see active service with the PLA soon, if not already in PLA service.

Namely, while we may or may not see the FH-97/A and Jetank entering service with the PLAAF and PLANNA - Whatever U(C)AVs exhibited during this coming V-J Parade (WZ-XX, CH-XX, WJ(?)/L(?)-XX, GJ-XX, etc) certainly will.

Otherwise, why bother rolling them out for a national-level event with significant, powerful message delivery purposes, with the PLA being one of the few, primary and key participants of the parade?

DF-100 kinda, it never really entered service in large numbers.

Not entering service in large numbers =/= never entering service

To answer his question, I cannot think of any system shown which was either not in advanced stages of PLA trials in small numbers at minimum, with the vast majority entering regular service at respectable scale.

I have a theory.

Are there chances, that these CCAs resemble J-36/J-XDS just because one of the CCA's design requirements is being used as decoys, confusing the enemies' targeting & sacrificing themselves when necessary?
Entirely possible. Making CCA look similar to J-36/J-XDS might be able to more effectively deceive optical detection devices.
