Slightly off-topic but these official English names are genuinely atrocious, what is on earth is Winged Loong or Nimble Looooong? Just translate the name fully like a normal person, Wing Loong>Winged Dragon or Petrasaur/Pterodactyl (called winged dragon in Chinese) and Nimble Looong>Nimble Dragon. They are immediately recognisable and have a meaning, unlike XXX Loong. The Chinese name 灵龙/翔龙 also translates into Spirit Dragon/Soaring Dragon, no idea why it is called Nimble Loong in English.

Wing Loong doesn't mean anything in Chinese or English, considering that these products are for exports, proper branding and cultural interfacing are soring lacking. Same goes for the CH series of Uav, CaiHong means Rainbow.

Yeah the name Wing Loong reminds me of an old American-Chinese restaurant.

Yeah the name Wing Loong reminds me of an old American-Chinese restaurant.

Or it could be Cantonese. Wing loong means forever Dragon. Or in you restaurant means forever popular/prosperous. I missed my Chinese keyboard on my phone.

Forever is pronounced wing in Cantonese but yoong in Mandarin loong as when you greet business associate you say make your business prosper.

There has been a proposal of differential of eastern and western dragon both in chinese and english for some time and loong is the widest albeit not much accepted to represented eastern dragon. I believe loong even has some recognition in english community and maybe there's also the business thought of standing out from all the dragons.

CloudShadow UAV was dispatched to monitor and take measurements of a typhoon, presumably Typhoon Hagupit.

Here's a short video of Wind Shadow's meteorological survey flight, which took off from Hainan. The pods under the wings dispensed instruments that measured wind speed, wind direction, humidity, barometric pressure, and so on. The data is then wirelessly transmitted to the ground team. It's not clear if the instruments transmitted the data to the ground station directly or used the UAV to relay it.

are those fuel tanks on the pilons?
Or maybe containers for radiosondes, whatever it is.
This large-scale weather detection drone successfully dropped 30 radiosondes and, together with millimeter-wave radar, carried out a "CT-style three-dimensional scan" of the cloud system outside Typhoon "Senrak".

Apparently another name for Cloud Shadow is... wait for it — Wingloong 10!
Wing Loong is a hybrid name. It's a mix of English and Chinese words. Wing is an English word, while Long is Chinese Mandarin for dragon. On the other hand, the Mandarin for Wing is Yi. So you can have a purely English name, Winged Dragon, or a purely Mandarin name, Yi Long.

Anyway, it's called "Pterosaur-10" or "Wing Loong-10" according to the above article. According to the video below, the UAV has a length of 9 meter, a height of 3.7 meter, and a wingspan of 18 meter. Other parameters are not mentioned.
