Chinese UAV/UCAV development

The Chinese now has a system that uses long range rocket launched artillery to launch suicide drones.


shown in the 2023 Abu Dhabi military exhibition, here are some details,

1. 48 drones can be launched at once.

2. true drone swarm with some of the drones equipped with infrared sensors and command other drones.

3. Flexible flightpath and large numbers makes it very difficult for the defense to intercept.

4. 200 km range.

5. modularization allow for quick reload after launch.

I think this might be it. It's a pure electric UAV with .





It also reminds me of a project from the Northwestern Polytechnical University. In fact, I think it might be the very same UAV but with its propeller shrouds removed.
