What are the alternatives? Develop GUI apps on Linux may take much longer and require more effort.
It would not take any more time. That is BS. What will happen is they will create a huge code base on Windows and if they need to port it later they will have to lose their investment. Any teenager can write a GUI application for Linux with Qt.
And the 3D graphics will be done with Vulkan which is cross-platform.

China has historically developed alot of drones

however recent events have showed that we need to invest heavily in drone defence

not only that even home made quad copters need to be defended against

any drone "lighting" up a armoured vehicle can be easily targeted by laser guided shells from conventional artillery

even if the vehicle moves as long as the drone has the vehicle "painted" the laser guided shells will find their targets

drone defence must be top priority

The PLA has been looking into that for some time (silent hunter just 1 example), so no need to worry.
