From Henri K blog seem like advance UAV with SAR and ESM
Coming for the first time at the show in 2018, the #drone WJ-700 from the CASIC group seems more successful, at least more seller, this year. It has integrated ESM antennas on the airframe as well as a small SAR under the forepeak. The prototype made its maiden flight in January.

Desirable characteristics for electromagnetic surveillance and collection equipment include (1) wide-spectrum or bandwidth capability because foreign frequencies are initially unknown, (2) wide dynamic range because signal strength is initially unknown, (3) narrow bandpass to discriminate the signal of interest from other electromagnetic radiation on nearby frequencies, and (4) good angle-of arrival measurement for bearings to locate the transmitter.

The proliferation of China's UAV is just mind boggling Now there are not just model They are real as they can get ,tested and equipped with wide variety of application Case in point is Wingloong II I specially like the maritime surveillance and ESM,ECM application . It will add arrow in china quiver against foreign ship and submarine

China's independently-developed Wing Loong-2 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) series were stealing the show at the six-day 13th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, or Airshow China 2021, which closed on Sunday. On Tuesday when the Airshow started, the Wing Loong-2 made a jaw-dropping debut, wowing audience.

The flight demonstrated the aircraft's capabilities of autonomous take-off and landing, climbing to cruise, and air-to-ground coordination, marking the first time that a large UAV has performed a flight at an international air show. With a wingspan of 20.5 meters and a maximum take-off weight of 4.2 tons, the Wing Loong-2 is a multi-purpose large UAV, developed by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).

Its latest version is equipped with a wide-area radar underneath the fuselage, enabling the UAV to better conduct naval reconnaissance. According to Li Yidong, chief designer of Wing Loong UAV Series, the Wing Loong-2 has a pod for electronic countermeasures (ECM) which is very helpful when it comes to more complex battlefields. Also on display were external stores that can be added on wings, with which the UAV has strong anti-submarine warfare and sea surface target attack capabilities. "We're putting on a colorful display of the Wing Loong series at this Airshow in terms of application scenarios.

The medium-altitude and long-endurance UAV has its own uniqueness as its strong adaptiveness enables long-haul flights. So it can be deployed in some extreme cases, such as wide-range reconnaissance," said Li. Li added that it supported relief efforts in flood-ravaged Henan Province in July, providing real-time audio and video communications between rescue sites and the command center.

From top to bottom:
- Control station for CH-4. Four consoles for flight control, payload control, communications monitoring, and intel assessment.
- Common/universal control station. Five consoles. Improved man-machine interface. Capable of controlling two drones at the same time. Redundant systems for improved reliability.
- Law enforcement control station. Specifically designed for monitoring large crowds at events. Capable of controlling various drones as well as unmanned ground vehicles for real-time situational awareness.
- Control station for a certain solar-powered UAV. Unlike the first three, which are based on standardized shipping containers, this command post is 12m long. The interior is divided into several functional zones from command and control to equipment operations. It can receive and process meteorological and remote sensing data as well as conduct intel assessment.
