Or he could be from South America. Plenty of people there are of European descent. Is that a flight suit he's wearing? If it is, it's a somewhat unusual color. Does anyone recognize his shoulder patch?

But if you read the comments they are also suggesting him to be a Russian (IMO clearly not)

There were rumors of Ukraine considering the L-15 many years ago. Perhaps its war with Russia finally brought them to the contract table?
More likely, though, is that this is just a South American pilot. A lot of South Americans look Caucasian owing to their European ancestry.
Just for thoughts. In one of Shilao's podcast, they mentioned that the military attaché of foreign (mostly US) embassy in China always fly Chinese planes for accruing flight hours accompanied by a Chinese pilot. This may be one of the possibilities.
They also mentioned that the Chinese side, with good intention, provides advanced trainers to the dismay of the attachés because they intend to fly something more exotic and old-school, like J-7s.
Rumors on Weibo hinted that the foreign pilot might be French astronaut Thomas Pesquet.

Absolutely the dumbest, the most ridiculous rumor I have heard in a very, very, very long time. Who came up with this nonsense?
That pilot doesn't look like at all. Not even close. More importantly, . It's rather difficult to get away for a weekend joyride in China when you are 254 miles above earth in a metal tube with no easy way of getting off.
