Several JL-10A equipped with the small PESA radar at Nanchang Yaohu Airport ... given the fact that one of them carries an official CFTE serial number #437 - the first two prototypes were 001/#434 and 002/#435 - it seems highly likely that the PLAAF is interested in that variant.

Seems as if these JL-10As already have a serial number applied, which was ps'ed in the original post from 18. January. Now in a smaller re-post it is visible albeit not readable. So far all regular JL-10s assigned to the PLAAF are operated by the 172. Brigade

Guys me again ... yesterday this image of a JL-9G + hook was posted by LKJ86 at the PDF and after some search I found it was originally potsed here:

labelled as a FTC-2000G.

JL-9G + hook old or new.jpg

Even if this is clearly wrong, the hook attached is what makes it interesting, since after some search on my hard drive I wasn't able to find is ... so is it just a recently posted old image of the JL-6G prototype or indeed a new image??

what do you think?

Oh well :) ... if you look closely this radar-equipped JL-10A has a serial number attached but in the other images it is deleted.
