Chinese strategy in the UN

Uygur genocide propaganda is now going to go up a notch after Argentinian Michelle Bachelet's OHCHR said reports of torture are "credible".

In reality, there has been no new evidence reported or seen other than believing the same bullshit testimony from lying separatists.

Even a college essay requires higher standards of evidence. I don't know how much she got paid by the CIA for this ridiculous report.

This comes after the Japanese UN rapporteur on slavery Tomoya Obokata claimed that slavery was happening in Xinjiang, again, based on zero actual evidence.

Working with the UN on good faith is clearly not working. The UN is clearly infiltrated by western propagandists operating in bad faith. Letting her in to Xinjiang was a bad decision.

China needs a new strategy. Perhaps the same Navalny strategy russia has been using for decades.

The UN will fall from grace just like the League of nation, but for the Latin-Afro-Asian block i wouldn't be surprised that BRICs and the SCO will be reformed to become their UN version. For NATOStan they already have their forums etc both blocks will have representatives of the other in their organisations. As long as the diplomats can still talk with each other i think it should bring some stability to the changing world.

For the time being China should move in such a way that their own or their allies representatives are moved into key positions. Given the UN democratic nature its majority rule. Offer a cheap loan here, cancel a debt there and offer more market access to win the votes needed.

She's Chilean, she was the Chilean President before. Looks like China-Chilean relations won't be getting better anytime soon. All of UN is corrupt and biased, starting from the very top. The current sec gen António Guterres, former Portuguese PM is the most biased sec gen ever in UN history. The UN should be swept in the trashbin of history, but first, a new world war is needed.

Oops, must have confused her with someone else

I think Chile recently elected a self-proclaimed leftist who is actually just a western plant

Michelle Bachelet was from the Socialist Party of Chile whose leaders include the famous Salvador Allende. This goes to show how "left" the politicians in Chile really are.

The only reason this has happened is because over the last few decades China has had a laissez faire approach to UN appointments.

The UNSC needs to be reformed. Africa, Asia and South America are underrepresented. I don't think a change to veto holding nations will ever happen, but maybe there could be the creation of non veto holding permanent members.

General assembly should take into account the size of each country, a bit like America's electoral college. It's ridiculous that a country the size of India or Nigeria has the same voting power as Lithuania.

Having the UN headquarters in New York also undermines UN's sovereignty, as we saw with America expelling Russian diplomats to the UN. If America expels all Chinese diplomats China effectively loses it's seat on the UNSC. I'd suggest Hong Kong or Taiwan (when it's liberated) as an alternative but having NATO intelligence agents roaming around on UN diplomatic visas sounds like a bad idea. Either America needs to guarantee non-interference of diplomats to the UN, or move it to a neutral country.

Ultimately it may be necessary to create an alternative to the UN.

Taiwan is a straight no. It will be a major military port and airbase for the PLAN and PLAAF with a lot of high value assets. Why would you let NATO, Western, and literally every other spies around the world to freely move around on it.

Sorry but you have to follow somehow the continuation of the events. After the visit to Xinjiang, Bachelet's first statement was in positive way, raising storms of reaction from centers of decisions that orchestrate the propaganda about the genocide of the Uighurs. She was put under pressure to not visit Xinjiang in first place by these centers. A couple f months I do not remember where, i read that she was in pressure to resign because of the positive comments she made immediately after the visit. Now i found these three articles googling in rush.

Note the sequence of events

It doesn't seem unreasonable to me if she received any warnings that she and her family might be involved in a fatal traffic accident
