I don't know how much of this will happen. They have a sizable number of american style christian adherents who have been totally brainwashed to look down on anything chinese.
One goes with the other.
If being Chinese is seen as being the sick man of Asia, then likelihood of adopting Western culture and life choices wholesale increases.
If being Chinese is being seen as coming from this awesome, high tech, high culture place, then gradually, the wyrmling comes out of it's shell, cast asides those shackles and asserts it's position as 龙的传人 (Descendants of the Dragon)

But yes, I do agree that the church is a potential environment that actively seeks to white-tify non-whites while, sadly, having a very rigid glass ceiling which these sycophants will never break and become truly "one of them"
Interestingly, I just came from an event with a significant gathering of oversea Chinese and a conversation that touched on this very topic. Anecdotally, they observe an increase of oversea Chinese indentifying with their Chinese heritage and being pro-China. This was attributed to simply China being so awesome right now ...
