It is also helpful to build commercial ships cheaply to deindustrialize south korea. It will make sure if a war happen there will be no alternative to Chinese supply chain. It also cripple potential of a hostile larger Korean navy.

Then it is time to expand navy like no tomorrow. By that I mean less than 2 years. Less than 2 years we will see terminal decline of Korean industry. Next on the chopping block is Japanese auto industry. 3 years top. 2025 lets see Japan if they still have number 1 largest auto industry.

There is no reason why Chinese shipbuilding is not twice as big as SK shipbuilding. Just ban all K-pop, that would deal a psychological hit on these SK people. Japan car industry is already in decline, as Chinese EVs and tesla are displacing Japan cars rapidly.

China's first large cruise ship is now 85% complete. It has 2125 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 5246 passengers. It will have 5 high power electric generator generating 62.4MW of power. It's expected to start sea trials in July and be delivered by December.

It will also have shopping area of 2000 sqm and have 5G coverage across the ship.

If you look at Royal Caribbean website, this is bigger than your average large scale cruise ships.

was built in France and started service just this year and can accommodate 6988 passengers at most. It is also longer and taller than the Chinese one with total of 82 MW power in propulsion.

But overall this seems to be very large and capable cruise ship as a first project.

Sir being in the leisure business, that ship is destine to sail the route in Asia because it has the perfect size and tonnage that can dock among the scenic places like Phuket in Thailand, Da nang, Saigon, Ha long Bay Vietnam, Boracay Philippine and Kagoshima Japan. Its main competitor is RCCL Spectrum Of The Sea which is a little bigger and heavier at 169,000 ton.

on the crashworthiness of a double-hull construction around a nuclear reactor compartment. A machine translation of the paper is attached to this post.

Abstract: This study aims to explore the crashworthiness of a nuclear power platform's double-skin side structure. Finite element models of the full platform and partial double-skin side structure are established respectively, and the collision is carried out using LS-DYNA software. Based on the simulation analysis, a scale quasi-static squeeze test model is designed, and the quasi-static squeeze test of the double-skin side structure is carried out and compared with the numerical simulation. The results show that for low-speed ship collisions, the structural response calculated using the local double-skin side structure model is basically consistent with that calculated using the whole ship model; thus, the quasi-static scaled test results are in good agreement with the numerical simulation results and can reflect the characteristics and structural deformation mode, thereby verifying the numerical simulation method. Meanwhile, the test results show that the double-skin side structure of the nuclear power platform remains intact when colliding with a 5,000-ton class ship at a speed of 2m/s, which means that it has good crashworthiness. This study shows that using a local double-skin side structure model to calculate collision response has high accuracy and greatly reduces the modelling and calculation workloads. The results of this study can provide valuable references for structural crashworthiness design in marine engineering.
