You can see an LNG carrier, possibly a VLEC, between the 003 carrier and the large containership , surely a ULCS. In the first picture, its on the right border of the picture with the shiny tank. The ship being built aft of 003 might also be an LNG carrier or VLEC of the same class. Pictures are from the 003 thread.

Petrochina ordered three LNG carriers from Hudong Zhonghua. These are near 300 meter long. They are certain to be built in the HDZ extension in Changxing.

Evergreen ordered two 24000 TEU boxships from Hudong Zhonghua. The class is the biggest boxships in the world for now, by a mere 28 TEU over the now second world's largest boxships.

Today is a good day for Hudong Zhonghua for inking five big ships.

Ignore the submarine pointed by the orange arrow or the progress on 003. Around the yard, I see at least four possible LNG carriers or VLECs. There is also the finishing touches to a 23000 TEU CMA CGN boxship, while another one is already being assembled.

Second hand ship market is hot. Chinese and Greek shipowners are binge buying on second hand bulk freighters, with the Japanese shipowners selling them. This is probably China's growing appetite for raw material.

Studying the shipping industry gives you an insight what's happening to China's and the global economy.

LNG carrier shortage is dire. If you don't have the ships, you don't have the goods. You get shortages, rising prices and supply disruptions. This shines light to the urgent need to build more LNG carriers.

ZPMC uses these special Zhen Hua heavy lift ships to deliver their cranes throughout the world.

ZPMC is certainly an amazing company. Through the years, I’ve seen them beating out European crane makers in Asia to become the one of the world’s dominant players in quayside cranes. Remarkable, considering that the company is less than 30 years old.

Here are 2 more recent deals in the US that they won:
