According to several bidding documents for various subsystems, assuming they are indeed for this particular test platform, the ship is called "未来型海洋智能空海潜一体无人系统母船", or "future intelligent air-sea-subsea integrated unmanned system mother ship". It seems to imply that not only is this a mothership for aerial drones, but it's also for unmanned surface and underwater vehicles.

Recently, LNG (liquefied natural gas) cryogenic expansion joints developed by Shuangrui Special Equipment of China Shipbuilding Group 725 Institute were successfully delivered and passed acceptance. They will soon be equipped with the 174,000 cubic meter large LNG carrier independently developed by Hudong-Zhonghua, realizing the first application of domestic LNG cryogenic expansion joints on large LNG carriers.

Current study shows that almost 50% of shipping in order book are capable of alternative fuel like LNG, LPG and methanol. The large bulk carriers are moving a lot to methanol, but LNG still occupies the greatest share
