Innoscience's GaN product has entered Google supply chain for AI data center. this is after it was the only Chinese power chip supplier to Nvidia supply chain.

It's beyond baffling that Chinese government continue to allow high purity Ga to be exported to compete with domestic GaN producers.

Does Innoscience compete against a semiconductor company called navistas? Is there anyway that you can inform the authorities about this situation? They need to have a more cohesive approach in formulating policies for retaliation in response to this trade war, embargo and sanctions.

Hmm…I want to believe Chinese leaders/authorities have a better idea of where China stands in every sector than all of us on here no?

China's first domestically produced 12-inch silicon carbide thinning equipment successfully delivered.​


Recently, according to Science and Technology Daily, the first set of 12-inch silicon carbide ingot thinning equipment and substrate thinning equipment independently developed by Beijing CETC Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CETC Equipment Group Co., Ltd., was successfully shipped to the leading enterprise in the industry . This marks a new breakthrough for domestically produced equipment in the field of large-size silicon carbide processing and provides important equipment support for the upgrading of large-size substrate production capacity.

The two newly launched machines address different technological challenges in ingot and substrate thinning, achieving key technological breakthroughs: the ingot thinning machine innovatively adopts an automated gripping and adsorption dual-mode conveying system, which can ensure stable and efficient transmission of large-size ingots, significantly shorten the processing cycle, and adapt to the needs of large-scale mass production; the substrate thinning machine integrates key axis systems such as independently developed ultra-precision air spindle and air-floating wafer support, which can stably control the thickness deviation within the wafer to within 1 micrometer, overcome the problem of uniformity control, and reach the international advanced level.

In addition, both devices are fully automated, meeting the needs of unmanned and intelligent production lines for large-size products. When paired with the laser stripping equipment developed by CETC Equipment, the material loss can be reduced by more than 30% through the efficient synergy of thinning and stripping processes . This further ensures the consistency of processing quality while improving the mass production capacity of the production line and strengthening cost control.

Going forward, CETC Equipment will focus on overcoming key bottlenecks in the serialized R&D and large-scale application of large-size silicon carbide processing equipment, helping my country's third-generation semiconductor industry chain leap to the high end.
