come on guys.. we all know that how institutes/universities works. they are leading from the front when it comes to R&D. the guy currently is in China and educate the young talent also do research and will publish paper/patent in mainland.. this thing automatically benefit the local industry.

whether he is US citizen or not. this thing doesn't matter.. he is a Chinese first.

That will depend in how much steroids the China Initiative will comeback. At this point wouldn't surprise me if they send Chinese researchers to Guantanamo for the minimum suspicion.

Although the situation is difficult to predict, Trump 2.0 seems less susceptible to the influence of the GOP stooges and is now more associated with the Silicon Valley oligarchs who have a lot of business in China or depend a lot on Chinese talent in their products.
