And in March, we will see claims about deliveries to take place at end-of-year. Toward the end-of-year and after Zhuhai Airshow, we will again hear "let's wait until March of next year".

There will always be next year. The Su-35 fan boys think they can revise their prediction indefinitely to avoid having to admit being wrong. Yet, they are already wrong when their initial prediction failed to materialize.

I know. But if there's no news by March Jeff and I win our bet against b787.

I will apologize by then if you are right, i am a man of word, but let us wait, too early to say it is true.

However let me tell you it has been reported that on 11 November 2016, Type 30 engine had its first run, basically making 117S obsolete, by 2019-2020 PAKFA will be powered by the type 30 most likely

I remember we had a member MiG29 (correct me if I have a wrong name) who was an obsolute fan of Russia and made a strong claim that China would purchase Su-35. He later being banned due to making the same claim again and again. I personnally don't want b787 to be another MiG29. If China wants to buy Su-35, she will do it regardless you claim it or not.

They are the same person, I think.

I'm going to give B787 the benefit of the doubt here, he has reached out to me in friendship and as a brother in pm's. We have agreed to disagree without being disagreeable, Mig29 never offered anyone an apology, or the promise of one. So I'm going to agree that just as Siege has suggested, we see what happens come March....

I'm rather certain that China will never purchase the SU-35, even though it is a fine airplane as the Engineer has suggested for Russia, but in my honest opinion, China's J-15 is a much more put together bird. I think China has upped their game when it comes to aviation manufacture, and the J-15, J-16, and Chengdu's J-20 are all very slick.

Did the Type 30 engines did a static test run (meaning on the ground with no airframe and the engines blasted in a testing facility) or test flight (meaning put onto an airframe and flew off the ground)? I'm just curious that's all.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as well, but not as much benefit as you give him.

b787, tell us, are you mig-29 or not. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt insofar as if you say you're not, then I'll go forward with the assumption that you're not.
