Yeah, China has been abit slow in rapidly adopting domestic software relying mostly on US software to run much of the country institutions and companies is not a good long term solution , even more so considering the national security threat and backdoors
I had never heard of Anolis OS, but apparently it already has 10m installation in the server OS market and the claim here is that China's localization rate will increase from 35% to 65% in the coming 3 years and Anolis will reach 50% share. I'm not sure if that's overall or just among the domestic server OS.
CSSC subsidiary Wuhan company won bid to supply Domestically Developed and Controllable Computer Monitoring System for 向家坝升船 project. It's China's first domestic replacement project in field of ship lift for water transportation.
Will use 100% hardware and software equipment. Overall system localization coverage is raised to over 90%. This reduces risk of safety & cyber attacks.
Specifically claimed to be 14% faster, 21% more stable, and with a 23% error reduction.
