Some more interesting close-up images of the CS-5000T UAV/UCAV demonstrator at CAC.

AFAIR these are the clearest images so far showing the round nozzle and what appears a quite large weapons bay.

Does this demonstrator not have any landing gears at all?

EDIT: Actually I now see a faint front and right landing gear bay outline. But if the larger bays at the back are for landing gears then what is the weapons bay that Deino is referring to? Unless they share the same bay?

So far, we only know about the PLAN's work with the GJ-11 - Hence, I'm quite interested in the prospect of the PLAAF procuring the CH-7 once the R&D works have been completed.

Perhaps the CH-7 will be the PLAAF's counterpart to the PLAN's GJ-11?

And from what is publicly available, CH-7 is noticeably larger than GJ-11 (wingspan of 26 meters vs 14 meters), while purported to have similar MTOW (which is doubtful, given the obvious size difference).

Given how CH-4 is already in service with the PLAGF (and maybe PLAAF aswell), I do find it strange if the PLAAF wouldn't want to have a flying wing UCAV of its own, especially with the usefulness of said UCAV type as a fast but (V)LO ISR-&-strike platform over the Himalayas and the ECS.

This is under the present observation that the GJ-11 is navy-specific, of course.

i remember listening to the actual performance of CH-7, I don't think it's as good as GJ-11
