Nothing indicates that. Quite the contrary. 7 dismounts can fit easily.

Because the rear top hatch can only hold 2 soldiers, and 1 of the 2 front hatchs is for the driver (who doesn't show and already stay in the vehicle before other crews enter). If you look at the other IFVs in the parade you can find that only soldiers can show up will enter the vehicle. I used to be mislead by the number but apparently there is a large space below the turret.
Just because the vehicle was paraded with 3 dismounts doesn´t mean it can´t hold more. Poeple don´t realize the size of the thing (and also forget that the since the turret is unmanned there is no protrusion of any basket or the like into the troop compartment, all volume below the turret is available for dismounts), I bet there are at least 4 dismounts seated in the right side of the compartment and 3 on the left.

Same to what I mean. I wanted to say that the number of soldiers we saw is relative to the number of hatches for them to show during the parade, and cannot represent the real capacity of the vehicle.

40mm telescoped ammunition
It's technically not but AFAIK the dimensions do apparently match known dimension for the 40mm casing, at least that's what I've been told. I'll post something here if I manage to find the reference dimensions.
