Northwestern Polytechnical University just completed a test of their Feitian-1 kerosene RBCC engine

First ever demonstration in the world of stable transition between rocket + ramjet, ramjet, scramjet, rocket + scramjet modes with kerosene fuel. That's pretty impressive. The only thing missing from a real TRRE engine is the turbojet, but that's the easy part and in parallel and not a part of this hard bit anyway:

Not sure if this is the same as the supposed weapons test on the same day. Photo of the launch seems to suggest different time of the day but who know how many time zone it flew across.

Could be separate too: there's no rule saying China can only run one hypersonic test per day :p

This thing is the holy grail, how did they manage to do that?! It's insanely difficult to make it work even in a Lab

Nah, not that hard in 2022 if we are talking about PRC/US/RUS , you wouldn’t have seen the image if it’s that cutting edge , of course every time somebody does something they would claim many “first” just so you know how badass their project is, which is true in a sense ,but this isn’t the first RBCC test in China, TBCC has flown too, so is RDE.
Long story short, all kinds of propulsion systems with all kinds of fuel/specs, just another normal day, in real life they do this in a weekly base you just don’t see much

The outer body is not that secretive. We will not see any of the inlets or even the engines.

Even inlet shape isn't an issue anyone with a decent HPC can design it, it's the materials, communication and fluid dynamics a pain in the ass, Every major army would be fielding stealth aircraft if it only took getting the fuselage shape right

Only the materials is the real pain. Wikipedia says that composite materials is a major pain in the Russian hypersonic program. With computers dynamics doesn't give much pain. But materials is all trial and failure process.
