Chinese helicopter fleet

So to explain this further (beyond necessary), the Navy needs more than 69 non-Z-8/18/20 to address its deployed rotary-wing ASW requirements. I don't see the Navy having these in service or ordered. Unless someone can suggest otherwise.

I think this post is BS do you not consider Spare? Troop and Supply transport, Medivac, Training, etc ridiculous post!

From one or two previous post it is apparent that some people have no idea about operational serviceability of airframes and preparedness. Beyond operational airframes there are training requirements and attrition reserves. I have mentioned this previously in other threads! Also, there is a comprehension problem when I quite clearly am talking about ASW platforms!

No one station helicopter on the ship just for ASW only. They do serve multipurpose specially on ship in high sea So to estimate number of helicopter based on ASW alone does not make sense

As for the Army Aviation, the standard composition of an AA Brigade, the helicopters and so on I recommend this one, even if probably including a much larger margin of error / uncertainty than in the PLAAF book.

Since I'm without access to the said book, do you know what's the most standard size of a sub-unit (battalion?) within a brigade? 12 per type of helicopter? Or 16? Or some other figure?

Also, do you know how many battalions of each type are there in service today, or were in service in 2020 or 2019, for all the brigades combined? Like were there 12 Z10 battalions, 15 Mi-17 battalions, 4 Z20 battalions and so on?
