From the girls I dated it appears girls really like Apple products for its beauty factor. Presumably it also communicates luxury. But I guess for us guys these don't apply. I don't think guys think Apple products are more beautiful or more luxurious, but girls dig them.

Men are about function, all substance, not chasing the bling factor. I got an LG Q7+ (actually quite a powerful machine at 4gb RAM, 64gb memory) for $50 used and I'm not switching till it breaks. Does everything I need it to and more. To me, this communicates efficiency, intelligence, low profile, and self-confidence. When a "man" brags about his new $1,500 iphone with 512GB memory (and I have a friend who does that), it communicates shallowness, insecurity, lack of thought/ability to avoid corporate traps, and a drone-like following of trends. And that doesn't even take into consideration that any Chinese person using an Apple product is just a shame to behold; puts a grin on the faces of all those racist against the Chinese.
Sell all stock if alibaba stock dips below 200$ and buy march calls . Easy money.
How does automation increase GDP/capita. Education and transition from cheap labor improves income.

In 2 ways:
1. Jobs that are filled by machines can relieve the manual labor so that those people can do other jobs and work other roles or new businesses that previously could not open due to labor constraints.
2. A man working with his hands will produce far less than if you give him a machine that works 10x faster than him so it increases total output of each person. This will increase standard of living because there will be more of the same to go around, depressing the per unit prices while increasing overall revenue.
Of course these all assume non-saturation and room to expand. Without these, more machines mainly drive up unemployment.

If I were Trump I'd worry about a second impeachment and potential prison sentence after the dumbass stunt he pulled today instead of some stupid stock ban that won't materialize or might miraculously materialize but gets overturned after two weeks.
