Xpeng and NIO will have to complete crash saftey certification to enter european market. After that they can be sold in Europe. My preference are Xpeng for sedan and NIO for SUV. There is so much hype around NIO at the moment and its US Adr shares are expected to cross 10$/share this week. These two companies are gonna smash public perception about Chinese automotive industries.
There's a lot of investor hype behind NIO and that can be a worry. Hot headed sentiments aren't going to give us accurate pictures but the market has spoken on NIO so far. I prefer the XPeng sedan as well and would purchase one in a heartbeat if it were available and had supporting infrastructure and networks. China's got a handful of Teslas in the main EV players on the mainland. NIO seems more impressive to me simply from their more aggressive pursuit of brute force accomplishments. There are some other makers with more quiet but arguably more important battery tech advancements than NIO has but all of it suppliable if it is Chinese.
