Was that a missed hit?

They were aiming for dead center of the window.
That DF10 can be seen hitting just below that window :p

Hi shanlung,

Hahaha!!!This building is being hit multiple times at the same place at that, see the building before being hit, its plastered, so the accuracy seems to be at 90% plus.

I need some basic education here. Is the building made of wooden blocks or cardboards? Given the lightweight (and flexible materials for the missile body) of cruise missiles, I wonder how they penetrate such thick layers of cements and detonate inside at subsonic speed...

It's concrete and brick construction, you just need to zoom in.

You need to re-do your junior high physics.. F=ma. In this case deceleration of a small mass.

I'm not sure where this slide comes from, so I can't vouch for its credibility. It hints that a certain "strategic cruise missile" has

optical windows. Whether the missile in question is DF-100 or the image is simply there for illustration purposes, I have no idea.

Zinc Sulfide windows are used by IR detectors inside Hypersonic vehicles to look out, and see through the friction generated heat from the atmosphere.
