Second Foreign customer of ARJ-21 after Indonesia ..

Brunei signed a purchase order of over 2 billion US dollars for 30 large Chinese aircraft.

On September 15, at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, COMAC and Brunei Gallop Air signed the "Letter of Intent to Purchase Chinese made Large Aircrafts and reached a purchase agreement for 30 aircraft. The amount is US$2 billion..

and the news also mentioned that "Gallop Air" Aviation will join hands with COMAC to launch large aircrafts..

did a timeline comparison of ARJ-21 and C919. Will be interesting when C919 achieves the last 2 items in there.

Unfortunately, due to COVID & Ukraine war, hard to compare C929 to any of this programs.

I originally looked at this with the goal of showing COMAC improved in its development/engineering capabilities. And how that may help its next project. But unfortunately, 929 just can't be compared apple to apple with 919

(Continued from above...)

Demonstration flights in Xinjiang have been completed successfully, verifying C919's compatibility with Xinjiang's terrain and climate.

Related to the above, here's the full story (roughly translated):
On September 26, 2023, seven ARJ21 and two C919 aircraft of COMAC gathered at Xinjiang Urumqi Diwuobao International Airport, lining up for a static display. It is noteworthy that the seven ARJ21 aircraft contain business, medical, cargo and emergency rescue command aircraft, which is the first time that the four derivative models of ARJ21 aircraft have appeared on the same stage, marking that this aircraft is steadily advancing on the path of scale serialization development.
At the beginning of June this year, the first user of ARJ21 aircraft Chengdu Airlines opened the domestic commercial aircraft Xinjiang operation, opened the Alar to Shihezi (stopping at Yining), Korla, Hotan and other routes. from September 15, Chengdu Airlines set up a hub in Turfan Jiaohua Airport, to ARJ21 aircraft flying Turfan to Korla, Alar, Hotan, Ruoqiang, Zhaosu, Aksu, as well as Hotan to Shachette, Ruoqiang to Hotan, Zhaosu to Karamay, and Aksu to Zhaosu. It is expected that by the end of this year, Chengdu Airlines' fleet of ARJ21 aircraft in Xinjiang will reach five, further increasing the capacity of regional routes within Xinjiang.

The row of parked C919s and ARJ21s (including a business jet variant and an air ambulance variant) is truly an awesome sight to behold...
