is the hot part made in China? That's the real question
can't say much as details didn't reveal. but most of engine components manufactured in mainland..

edit - hot parts made in China or not doesn't matter. WZ-16 is a civilian project.

for military purpose China have more advance and powerful engine like WZ-10. and 5000KW power heavy turboshaft engine under final phase of development.

The Farnborough Air Show, which ended on July 22, is the second largest air show in the world, second only to the Paris Air Show in scale and popularity. it is first time COMAC participated in such a big aviation show to promote their products like ARJ21 , C919 and surprisingly CR929 as well. though they didn't get a single order from any customer. but this is the beginning of new era..

Hangzhou-based Sinochem Lantian Group Co., Ltd. delivered its first batch of mass-produced polyvinyl fluoride film (PVF) materials to Boeing on August 1. This material is primarily used to protect certain surfaces in aircraft interiors. The PVF material delivered by Sinochem Lantian will be applied to the interior wall panels of Boeing aircraft, which can enhance antibacterial, anti-mildew, wear-resistant, anti-fouling and fire-resistant capabilities, prolong the life of interior components, and reduce maintenance costs for airlines ..

The Dongjiang Free Trade Port Zone (DFTP) in China's Tianjin marked its leasing of the 2000th aircraft on Friday, making it the world's second largest aviation leasing hub in terms of the overall asset volume.

Tianjin city aiming for becoming aviation powerhouse by 2030. from logistics to manufacturing.
How does this work? Dongjiang doesn't have an airport iinm

Hopefully they can revive Tianjin Binhai. I love the look and location of that city much more than Xiongan
