Its noticeable that the export tank from China the VT4 would have things like commander independent scope and remote-controlled gun on top of the turret while China's domestic tanks like the Type 96B and the Type 99A don't have those features.

Type 99 and Type 99a both have CITV but unfortunately no RWS.

Where do you see new commander sight?
I mean the commanders sight on the commanders cupola, it’s the same kinda design as Soviet ones, with the commander being able to rotate his cupola and thus his sight. You can see it on the type 96 as the little rectangular sight on the commanders cupola. I was wondering if it had been upgraded with a thermal imager is all.
