Wang Chi, another member of China Academy of Science, said that the next phases of China Lunar Exploration Projet(CLEP) will follow the three steps plan:

2021-2030: Establish a main research base at the antarctic area of the moon.

2031-2040: Establish another two base at the front and the far side of the moon.

2041-2050: Establish multiple research station at the surface of the moon, form an interactive supervising and communication network for lunar surface probe and discovery.

Lieutenant General
It says space tourism, space mining and space manufacturing. If you could make components of the SSPS on the moon for deployment in GSO that might be worth quite a bit of money?

Considering how much the ultra wealthy are prepared to pay for 15m to not even go into proper space, imagine the premium you could charge for a few days on the moon.

That will probably be mid development seed money generator, and will be peanuts compared to the real money that will come once mining and manufacturing kicks off.

For mining, the main prize will be rare elements not found on earth, and heavy metals which will yield the biggest weight savings to be made on the moon to be send into orbit for final assembly.

Manufacturing will be focused on aforementioned heaviest elements of spacecraft, and also open up entirely new fields in manufacturing in microgravity which could allow the construction of parts and devices not possible/practical on earth.

Once mining and manufacturing gets up to scale, you will see regular transfers of fully loaded spacecraft to and from earth; and that will open up space tourism to the masses as per launch costs plummet and the number of available empty seats massively increase for returning empty spacecraft.

The author of this ppt slide is so lazy that he/she took the scene (right side) from the TV series "Space Force" where Chinese space station clipped the solar panel of the US' space weapon. o_O

Does anyone know of the nature of these:

Inter-planetary probe project
Outer Solar system probe project

I believe there was a pair called Interstellar Express, but did this probe get split into two mission profiles now?

An integral solid rocket booster developed by China for engineering application completed a test run at the Fourth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation on Tuesday.

With a thrust of 500 tonnes, the booster is the most powerful of its kind in the world, China Central Television (CCTV) reported.
The booster, which is 3.5 meters in diameter, uses technologies, such as a high-performance fibrous composite shell and an extra-large nozzle, which puts its overall performance reach at the world's leading level.

The success of the test run exemplifies China's improved solid carriers capacity. The booster will support the future development of heavy-lift carrier rocket technology.
