We are getting way off topic. But just to set the record straight here.

A “new era for the US Space Program” began on February 13, 1969, when President Richard Nixon established the Space Task Group (STG). The purpose of this committee was to conduct a study to recommend a future course for the US Space Program. The STG presented three alternative long-range space plans. All included an Earth–orbiting space station, a space shuttle, and a manned Mars expedition.

you can talk about it, but where is the funding? or even a concrete road map? Mars program and space station were all no chance, feel good exclamation to give cover to a heavily military inspired shuttle program. the disingenuousness of these can be gauged by the fact that they represent programs hugely more expensive than the ongoing apollo lunar landing program promised in a budget that saw a great decrease to NASA’s budget compared to the what it had been in the heyday of Apollo.

if it weren’t for the fact that apollo program was cut short, and there was some surplus boosters and surplus third stages that can be converted to a limited space station, the US would literally have had no space station program of any kind until raegan’s Space Station freedom.

how many successful Angara flights have there been? what does the history of missed deadline look like?

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it is not the same as if it isn’t broke, don’t do anything more with it then what other people are paying you to do.

No, The US paid Russia for space assets to keep as many of the russian staff from working for North korea, Iran, and above all China as possible, and do so as cheaply as possible.
Not trying to be funny but here you go.

Well done China’s Taikonauts. I was invited when I was a visiting lecturer of University of Macau to attend welcome visit to Macau of the first Taikonauts who orbited space in 2004. They were with their team of supporting scientists that included young professional women. They were also impressive then. May there be peaceful explorations in space by all nations for the good of mankind.

Ground based space station simulator. If no English is available for the interface, I guess foreign astronauts will have to learn some Chinese to operate these consoles.
