Allegations that they are corrupt officials at best and foreign assets at worst.
If am not mistaken, the Rocket Strategic force is a relatively new branch that was established as part of Xi Jinping’s modernization and theatrerisation plan. The fact that these 3 alleged high ranking officers managed to achieve their ranks and therfore influence (maligned and corrupting) says about the determination and ingenuity of China's enemy and a black eye to the Chinese military leadership and discipline that such people are more than able and willing to assist it's enemies knowing the very history of their country.

Chances of foreign collusion is extraordinarily low, most likely got dragged in as part of corruption investigations.
I heard it was promotion buying scandal. If true that explains why the commissar is getting sacked too, as the commissar is supposed to be catching personnel related issues.
It is enough for them to display minor incompetence and slowness to justify dismissal. Most likely they didn't do as much as they could have to honor their positions.
Having impartial investigation and being able to dismiss anyone for not managing their position up to par is one of China's unique strengths, if these guys had to go, their replacements will be worth it, instead of allowing the posts to stagnate under their control, as most other countries would have done.
Damn, that’s not good! At this particular moment in PLARF development, the highest integrity is paramount!
How is it bad? In most other countries, those commanders would have stayed. Being able to dismiss less efficient people due to independent oversight is the reason why the PLA can be a lean fighting force without needing much funding.
