Vespa Scooter Launching in Pakistan on 2nd March.....
Vespa, the Italian leading automaker is returning to Pakistan by launching new Vespa Scooter on 2nd March. Vespa is a known company around the world. There was a time when Vespa bikes were all over the roads in Pakistan but then there was a break. Now it seems Vespa is ready to re-enter Pakistan’s market with a boom.
In Pakistan, Vespa will be launched by the same company that sells Derbi bikes. Piaggio group of Italy owns both Vespa and Derbi. Initially, Piaggio collaborated with Ravi Group of Companies in Pakistan to sell Piaggio 125 Storm bike. Then later on Ravi collaborated with another Piaggio brand, Derbi to sell fully built bikes in the country. Presently Derbi STX150 and Derbi ETX150 are sold in Pakistan.The bikes are imported to Pakistan while they are assembled in China at Derbi plant.
Now the news is that Ravi Autos wants to bring back Vespa in Pakistan. The launching ceremony of Vespa Primavera in Pakistan will be held by Ravi Autos and Piaggio in Pakistan on 2nd of March at Auto Show Expo, Lahore.
This new scooter is nothing like last seen two-stroke Vespa scooter in Pakistan. It is new, fresh and technically advanced. It has the option of 125- and 150cc Euro-4 engines along with electric self-start button, electronic fuel injection, automatic CVT gearbox, adjustable coil spring and hydraulic shock absorber. The disks brakes have anti-locking brake system. Coming to the tires and wheels of the bike it has alloy wheels and 11″ tubeless tires. The fuel tank has the capacity to hold 8 liters of fuel.
Recently Vespa also announced that soon it will launch the first electric scooter in 2018. This scooty will completely change the concept of scooters.
