Unfortunately came too late to save the Chinese paddlefish.
From March to April this year, researchers successfully carried out natural reproduction of Yangtze sturgeon released into the Xuetan waters of the Jinsha River in Yibin, Sichuan and the Xianglutan waters of Jiang'an County in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. A total of 499 fertilized eggs were collected, and 47 juveniles were successfully hatched in situ after cultivation.

We'll have to see how the public takes it and how enforcement goes. HK authorities should take action to a similar degree to adopt/promote NEVs across private, commercial, and government vehicles. The air quality there is horrendous.

The coal mine accident in north China's Shanxi Province has left 82 people dead, with nine others still unaccounted for, according to the county's emergency management bureau. The gas explosion occurred on Friday at the Liushenyu coal mine in Qinyuan County. The province has sent 755 people including rescuers and medical personnel to the site. Rescue efforts are ongoing.
