Well Hendrik seems to me like the AV500W would compare somewhat to the US MQ8B Fire Scout. Well maybe on the small side even compared to the B, Payload wise it's roughly half.
If I was to push that analog then the Z11 which is roughly equal to the Bell 407 would be a good point of start for a MQ8C equivalent

Well MQ8B is also twice as big as AV500W with MTOW of 1-1/2 ton vs 450Kg for AV500W. China is at least a decade behind when it come to UAH. But they are catching up I understand they start working on 1 ton UAH last year which put it in the class of MQ8B. MQ8C is not operational yet
Here the spec on MQ8B

Considering the AV500W is their first go at a UAH, and helicopters has been traditionally a weak field for china, it is a decent design. Think of this as a learning step, once they are happy with this AV500, can go bigger and bigger. They probably want to learn from this experience (basics UAH design) before going to build a larger version and putting more bells and whistles on it.

Considering how fast the rest of the UAV industry is developing in China, I can see them coming out with a larger version for the 056s.

does it mean WZ-16 is ready now? and started fitted into new WZ-10 (ME) ?

what "ME" means? Modified Engine ?

I have to admit that WZ-16 look very pretty and neat! ;)

I wonder what made Safran would want to joint developed WZ-16/Ardiden 3C with China (Avic Helicopter) ? .. what the main benefit for Safran ?

The Z-10 should never be called the WZ-10. The latter is the designation for the 1600kW turboshaft in Hendrik's post, with WZ standing for "涡轴", or turboshaft. It is intended for use on the Z-20.

It gets really confusing for PLA-watchers to start calling helicopters WZs while the helicopters themselves use turboshafts called WZs.

Right now, Chinese helicopters use the following turboshafts:
Z-10 uses WZ-9
Z-8 uses WZ-6
Z-9 uses WZ-8
Z-11 uses WZ-8
Z-20 probably uses WZ-6 for testing, WZ-10 for service.

As you can see, the numbers of both the turboshafts and helicopters overlap with each other so it's best to get into the habit of never referring to helicopters by "WZ" to avoid confusion.

WZ 16 has finished the design, development, testing stage It has been 7 long years. Now it enter into certification stage. It should be finish at then end of this year. Before it can start mass production
It was the engine of AC 352 that make the first flight Dec 2016
Well Safran has other product to sell in PRC like the big engine for C919 or civilian helicopter engine. It will be advantages for them to be in good grace of PRC
