Social media here in Taiwan is now blowing up with the news that a PLAAF SU-35 had crashed in Southern China. I'm seeing a lot of supposed "leaked photos" of the crash. Many are saying that it was 'heavily damaged by a Taiwanese missile" when "it crossed the center line of the Taiwan Strait" and that it crashed during its flight back to China. I don't believe the claim that it was shot by a Taiwanese missile but there are many "leaked photos" of the crash and screenshots of people talking about the crash on Weibo before it was nuked by censors. People are saying that the pilot didn't survive and that the plane crashed into a local neighborhood causing a lot of casualties. It is also said that all information regarding this event are "censored" currently. There are also supposed "dissident accounts" on Twitter saying that many Chinese citizens are celebrating the crash on the streets and chanting "Death to CCP" and that the entire town is currently on lockdown as the PAP is preparing for a crackdown riot-police style. I'm on mobile now so I'll upload the photos and update with you guys later.
