according to the latest issue of kanwa, J-15 is currently undergoing flight test.
shanyang J-15 first roll out last october, the iarcraft is identical to SU-33, J-15 could be main pillar of PLAN naval aviation, 4 yerars ago, Chengdu proposes 2 seater of J-10 as carrier aircraft, but was rejected.

The reliability of this report is debatable, but it's interesting if true. It says that the first prototype was built last October, and that it will make its maiden flight some time in this year. It supposedly will look almost exactly like the Su-33, as it should be built upon the Su-33 and the T-10K. It also says that pilot training may be an issue, since they don't know if Shenyang's pilots, which only have experience with the Air Force, or the Navy's pilots should fly it....

Seems as if the long rumoured second J-11B regiment will go to the PLA-NAF ... as J-11BH.

Since there are regular PLAAF grey-coloured Flankers in the background I'm not sure if this is an operational base or if these are aircraft at SAC on pre delivery.

PS/Edit: Seems to be confirmed at SAC !

The lightly painted plane in the front-right position looks very much like the J-15 mockup.

Yes, but the sting seems to be the regular one ... what's also interesting to note: One of the white/light-grey machines does have the twin-seaters taller tail ... looks like a Su-27UBK (... or maybe even J-11BSH) !???

Huitong website has new entry regarding J-11BSH. Looks like the rumour can be quite true.

With FWS-10 back into production. It is possible more J-11BS chunk out since the initial prototype is running in FWS-10.

So, from this photo we see dark colored J-11B's. Are there any J11BS's?
Also, we see J11BH's and allegedly J11BSH's, but they look almost exactly like the "J15" prototype that was on the mock aircraft carrier. What is the probability that one of, or both of these fighters are capable of landing on an aircraft carrier?

I believe I have said this before, but I don't believe that the carrier aircraft will be designated J15...because it doesn't seem to be more than a derivative of the J11B. China has never renamed a derivative aircraft in such a manner.

....

No, they don't since they have the long "sting" of a regular Flankler ... as such, their probability of landing on an aircraft carrier is "0" !

Ah, I didn't understand what you meant by the "sting" last time. That makes sense.
