While we are on the subject, is it conclusive that J-16s are equipped with AESA radars? Most analysts on CJDBY seem to think so.

Yes, according to the image and also another set of documents detailing the radar itself.

The J-15 will also be retrofitted with this radar in due time and the J-11B prototype 524 already has an AESA, likely to be this variant.
