how do we know that is not just a su30? it doesnt look like fresh out of factory yellow, it looks more run down, more like "lets strip the paint down and prepare the plane for thorough refurbishment kind of yellow"

Yes, I agree looking at it, it appears to have been stripped and alodined as an acid etch, paint prep, but thats just the brats opinion, someone will correct us if we're off, but these girls are sweet, they look so nice. I was torn between "flanker fan" or "raptor man" and the Pak-Fa is "gorgeous". JXX does have that kind of Star Wars look, so many nice airplanes, these may be the "good ole days". BRAT

The J-11BS should not be put under the "Su-30MKK" line, and frankly I don't see how any of the Chinese ones are related to their Sukhois besides the airframe design.

Is that not more than enough to justify a relation

Not when it comes to the actual aircraft; for example Carlo Kopp does not classify it as "Flanker", but rather as an "offshoot", since unlike the other examples the airframe is the sole relation they have to the original Flanker.

Even if we're calling it an "offshoot," the word itself implies they are related. J-11B/BS etc are variants of the flanker airframe. full stop.

I think you should sell those offshoots to ME, I mean really I wouldn't want you guys stuck with an offshoot, an outfit up near Chicago had a couple of flankers, and a guy in Quincy Il has two Mig 29s, so I would probably want about 4 to defend Greenfield, I actually want a Pak Fa for Christmas, so you guys can start savin now.
