Mentioning this to avoid confusion: the third image doesnt show one of the new CCG hulls but that waterjet-driven abandoned patrol hull that had been sitting at Huangpu for years now.

From picture, can we conclude no 054A is being built, these are actually coast guard variants?

It's been concluded for a while that 054A production has ceased.

These are coast guard cutters built on the 054A hullform. I'm sure we will get a designation for them in time....


... but the nature of these ships means that they really shouldn't be posted here, and should be for the CCG thread instead, which I will move them over to.
