What is that between the DF-31A and the DF-10? Looks a DF-16 variant. MIRVed DF-16? We have original DF-16, the MaRV version and now perhaps a MIRV version?

DF31-AG? what is it?, the first time I heard/saw .. it looks significantly bigger than DF-31A

Is it the same as DF-31B?

I think 'G' is for modified in Chinese. The TELs are different. Missile might be the same though.

* DF-31A TEL - Road mobile but not off-road capable. Road has to be paved. But better survivability compared to Silo based DF-5A/B

* DF-31AG TEL - Road mobile AND a level of off-road capability. Further Increasing survivability for a credible 2nd strike

DF-31B was thought to be an MIRVed version of the DF-31A. DF-31A is a city buster with a single 1MT warhead.

From what I heard, DF31AG can also conventional war head (or maybe the hypersonic or antiship?). That could explain the size difference.

I dont think that i have ever seen this TEL before, certainly not in this configuration. I have seen the DF-41 TEL, in which the cannister goes on top the cabin, but not this one.

Perhabs a configuration that never went into service?

But putting conventional warheads on an ICBM would be a huge waste. DF-31s are strategic assets and are produced in limited numbers. DF-26 can carry both nuclear and non-nuclear but it is an IRBM. ICBM should be there for one thing and one thing only and that is nuclear deterrence.
