There are many medium to short range ballistic missiles as well as cruise missile that can be armed conventionally or nuclear in the Chinese arsenal. But DF-26 is kinda unique that it is a 4000+ km (up to 5000??? km) IRBM that can be conventionally armed. All previous IRBM in the Chinese arsenal were nuclear only.

With all the discussions on ICMBs etc. by countries who have them in their arsenal, perhaps it would be wise to ponder 6th Century Lao Tzu's "By accident of fortune we may rule the world for a time, but by virtue of love (peace - my own add on) and kindness may rule the world forever. Learning from history, we know what happened to the aggressive Roman Empire, Ottoman Empire, Japan's East Asia Co-Prosperity "Empire", British and other Colonials in Asia, Caribbean etc.

Man cannot live on good intention only. the last time China did that ,She was carved into semi colonial status that bring misery to people
Mao has many sins but one thing he did right is reviving the martial tradition of Chinese people
As they say Peace thru strength and speak softly but carry big stick Teddy Roosevelt

Yes 8th test of glide warhead DF ZF. They are close of being in service
...

Any news on this 8th test? The most complicated test so far from what I understood. Loaded on to an ICBM (DF-5?) and possibly as MIRVs. May be at least 2 HGVs were launch from a DF-5B? The no-fly area is insanely large. This would be one of the biggest steps for China in-terms of nuclear security/deterrence.

There is still a ways to go in China developing its national strength but at this point China is strong enough that as Advill points out, as much attention needs to be paid to one's benevolence as to strength, otherwise lack of which will undermine one's strength.
